The league depends on support from the community to help maintain our facilities and keep player registration fees as low as possible. WDTLL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Minor League Baseball Division
Our Minor League Baseball division is for younger players with less experience. The minor league may be players ages 7-9. The Minor League Baseball division uses a combination of "coach pitch" and "player pitch." The emphisis in this division in on improving fielding, throwing and hitting skills while begining to learn different aspects of the game including base-running and pitching. Base stealing is not permitted at this level. Rosters usually have 11 - 13 players. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.
