The league depends on support from the community to help maintain our facilities and keep player registration fees as low as possible. WDTLL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Junior League Baseball Division
The Junior League Baseball division is for players age 13 and 14. The diamond used is a traditional 90 ft diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet 6 inches. Our teams play teams from other leagues in District 8 with double-headers on Saturdays and games on Monday and/or Wednesday nights. New players to the division are drafted to teams with returning players remaining on the same team as the previous season. At the end of the season the league selects a Tournament Team (aka All-Stars) for competion in the Junior League Baseball International Tournament where teams can advance to the Junior League World Series.
