The league depends on support from the community to help maintain our facilities and keep player registration fees as low as possible. WDTLL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Big League Baseball Division
The Big League Baseball division is for players age 16 to 18. Some of the players in this division come from surrounding leagues that do not offer this age level in their program by use of the Little League combined teams format. The diamond used is a traditional 90 ft diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet 6 inches. Our team plays teams from other leagues in District 8 and District 7 with double-headers on Sundays and games on Friday nights. At the end of the season the District selects a Tournament Team (aka All-Stars) for competion in the Big League Baseball International Tournament where teams can advance to the Big League World Series. In 2010 the District 8 North Big League Team was undefeated in the State Tournament and finished third in the Central Region Big League Tournament. The team was managed and coached by WDTLL coaches and half of the team were WDTLL players.
